Do Traffic Exchanges and Safelists work?
on May 2nd, 2012 at 8:23 amDo Traffic Exchanges and Safelists work? It all depends on what you mean by work. If it’s hits to your website that you are after then yes they do work, however the conversion rate of Traffic Exchanges and Safelists are very low.
Think about this for a second! We know you are trying to make money on the program you are promoting, the problem is so is everyone else. So why would they buy from you when they are promoting their own program. Do YOU actually look at these other websites when you are clicking for credits, or do you do what most other people do and just move straight on when the timer is up.
Lets have a closer look at this:
Traffic Exchanges: These are places that you view other people’s website via a traffic exchange portal until the timer expires. In exchange for viewing their website you earn credits so you too can have your website viewed by others. Sounds great doesn’t it! Unfortunately the conversion rate on these are so low as most people are advertising their own business and not looking for another one.
This isn’t to say they can’t be effective, you need to use the right lead capture page and a bucket load of traffic to get any results at all. Over the past few years since I have been working online there are a few that I use that get quite good results but I recommend upgrading to maximise your results.

Safelists: A safelist is a group of people who agree to receive a marketing email from time to time in order to be able to reciprocate the favor. All members on the list can email each other, usually once a day with a marketing message. This email cannot be considered spam because the list is an opt in list and you must agree to receiving messages to be on the list.
Do Safelists work? If used correctly they can work for you, again I recommend upgrading in safelists to get the true benefit of what they have to offer, Set up a squeeze page and send your safe list traffic to it. Being consistent and mailing every time it’s available will give you results.
Safe lists are about building your list not selling products. I add double figure subscribers to my list per day sending constantly to safe lists.
