Their are a lot of people making huge amount of money in website design, which is a good and bad thing.. Good because the money is their to be made – Bad – because that means lots of competition.
I again don’t think this kind of working online job is for everyone, but its something that can be looked at by all. I think the advantages of designing online websites and logos is that you can do it all from home on your PC.
Right now in the golden age of the Internet there is a huge amount of people looking for design work to be done. There is so so much more profit in web design simply because the Internet is growing at a super fast rate. Some more great advantages of website design are that everyone needs it, not just for personal use, but also for huge businesses, and small business as well. There are sites for you to post your design skills just like with logo designs.
If you are already a designer of sorts then designing websites could really be for you, and could make you a continued income online, but if you are new to web design their are some points to consider before you start.
1. You will need software
2. You will need to advertise your skills
3. You will need start up money
4. You will also need the knowledge and time to learn the software
Designing websites Using Software
Here is a small list of some great software to help you design websites
1. CoffeeCup
2. Dreamweaver
3. NetObjects
If you are serious about web-design you will need to view all software and decide on your budget.
Research which software is best, from what i know dreamweaver is properly your best option if you have the money, if not check out the others on the list.
Once you have your software you will need a lot of time to learn exactly how to use it. There are so many great youtube videos on how to design websites, that its really something you have to research your self to find the best that suits you and your skills. From basics to pro.
Right, you have your new improved skills and software ready to go, the next important stage is of course getting jobs. As with everything online you will need to advertise. There are some great site where you can post your work, but as its web design i would not use the likes of fiverr…

Best is really in the eye of the bodelher Personally, I think Dreamweaver is the best advanced web development tool (but it is not for the layman). XSitePro is pretty darn good for the layman and it is a great way to create a full website template in very little time. I use both (I usually start with XSitePro and finish with Dreamweaver). But you really don’t need to go much further that XSitePro, unless you are planning to become a professional website designer.
