What Is Amazon Mechanical Turk

The way that I’m talking about today is with amazon!!
I bet 90% of you were thinking,, oh yeah we all know this way,,whats new!!??
Well I’m not talking about affiliate marketing with amazon.. I’m talking about working as an amazon mechanical turk!
I bet 99% of you have no clue to what I’m talking about…right?
What is an amazon turk?
Well its aka AMT ( amazon mechanical turk ) is in its basic form a marketplace for you to find jobs listed by amazon and other companies that their computers and software cant do!!
And because of this only human workers or turks can do these jobs, so amazon post these jobs and you earn money for completing them.

~ their are jobs that amazon computers and software just cant do ~
~ They need workers aka mechanical turks ( you ) to do these jobs for them ~
How to get started?
you first need to sign up to amazon turk programme.

Once you are signed up its very easy to navigate the site to find jobs.
Their are so many jobs, at lots of different levels of commitment and time frames.
The term used on site is HIT ( Human Intelligence Task )
A lot of these tasks can be done very fast ,, I’m talking seconds not minutes! like telling the difference in pics or checking page differentials.
So it had to be featured on this blog because this is again something that everyone can try and make money with.
Right lets get to the biggest and most important question
How much money can you make with amazon mechanical turk?
So the important factor, most of the tasks or hits you will be able to make $0.10 which will seem really small fry and not a good payment, but lets look at this again from a different point of view.
So how about this $0.10 for 20seconds work? does that sound better?
That’s a total of $0.30 a minute
Or
$18 an hour – that sounds a hell of a lot better right? $18 an hour…. Ok so it will not always be this high and it could very easily be more.
$0.10 per task is just a start – but their are a some tasks that will pop up for $2, $4 per hit task – that’s great going, but these job tasks will go in seconds as you can guess, everyone wants to perform these jobs!!!
A nice little trick to helping you maximise your high task find, is to simply refresh the screen as offen as possible, just in-case one of these jobs appears, that way you are at the front of the Que so to speak, and can click TAKE TASK before anyone else!!
How do you get paid?
Once you have completed your task or hit amazon will contact the company involve and sort everything for you, it will pend until cleared with company from their on you have two options
1. Transfer your money to your bank account
2. Transfer your money to your amazon gift card account ( so you can use against amazon purchases )
The companies using Amazon Turk can pay bonus’s
So this is another key factor to remember when using AMT, these companies that post these tasks will sometimes pay nice bonus’s to the workers that do a great job. Most people could get on here and make money with AMT, but the ones that do a lot of great work will benefit the most in the way of nice bonus’s and special tasks,
so that alone can make this a great income stream!
Do the best job possible and you might just get an extra reward.

~ THE CONS ~
- Sometimes difficult to know what is required
- For me its a little boring
- To make good money you need to do a lot
- You have to be fast to get the high end jobs
My conclusion to this way to make extra money online…….
Try it and work at it and you could easily make an extra few hundred dollars a month.
Not bad for something that is free to do and try, but also makes real money, plus not many people know about this working online opportunity.
